ACNE - PIMPLES
There are literally millions of people who have acne, so you are not alone. Almost everyone gets pimples, or zits, or acne, so stop feeling like you are the only one with red spots on their face. This is a multi-million dollar industry. Most of us are looking for an acne cure; sorry, as of yet, there is no cure, just treatments. Scientists have been trying to solve this skin disease for many years. Maybe they will come up with a cure one day.
The first thing we must do when dealing with acne is to fight fire with fire. To fight against anything, you must arm yourself. Acne is known by many names. It is, of course, a skin condition that affects our largest oil glands, including the nose, forehead, cheeks, chin, back, and trunk of the neck. A disorder of the oil glands results in clogged pores and outbreaks of lesions commonly known as "pimples".
As I said before, all you have to do is look around in a crowd and realize you are not the only one who is fighting "acne." Everyone can tell you of their own horror story of his or her worst zit from hell. Mine popped up on the side of my mouth, and grew to massive proportions before popping... it cracked over and over, everytime I opened my mouth. It took more than a month to go away... I named it "Bob".
Acne affects about 50 million people, making it the most common skin disease in the United States. While it tends to last longer in females, males are more likely to get acne, and, tend to have more severe cases than females. My son was born with baby acne but that cleared up on its own after about two weeks.
The most common group of people to get acne is adolescents. It usually starts to rear its ugly head around the ages of 12 - 15, and is usually gone by the age of 30. Unfortunately, I was one of the unlucky few that had been able to keep my skin condition - now called "adult acne" well into my 40's. Which lead me to seek out this information. Maybe, I thought, I could find a cure.
I did try several new acne treatments. The proactive stuff worked great for my daughter but did not work for my son. We also tried one called Acnezine. That actually removed some old acne scars from my back as well as got my son's condition under control. So again before doing battle, learn about it, arm yourself, choose the product that works best for you and be victorious.
